A Christian convention in the heart of Kampala has brought together some of the most radical preachers, pastors, apostles and intercessors for the sole purpose of prayer and bold stand for the Word of God.

The Church leaders for the last six days determined to pray, share the gospel – and in repentance for different people call for passionate, spirit-filled believers.

The group, including Apostle John Mulinde, Apostle Joseph Serwadda, Pastor Isaac Kiwewesi, Pastor Tom Mugerwa, Apostle John and Sarah Bunjo, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Apostle Ronald Ssali, Apostle Evans Kulaba, Pastor Justine Nabbosa and Apostle Charles Tumwine among others were hosted at the  MTN Arena – Luggogo by Pastor Kimuli Michael, the vision bearer and senior pastor of Christian Discipleship Ministries Int.

One by one the group ministered before masses starting 11 December and left the arena spiritually charged up. The Theme; You are the battle axe was drawn from Jeremiah 51:20.

In his submission after anointing the entire congregation, Pastor Kimera on Saturday said the team of preachers is very available and ready to move across the country with the gospel.

In regard to technological advancements across the world, Dr Serwadda urged listeners not to be naive and care enough where they go with the gospel.

“God is a warrior – and all His believers are fighters. If the Church refuses to fight, God will find a fighting force somewhere,” Dr Serwadda said, quoting  Luke 19:40 which says; “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

“Uganda is a nation picked by God, but our problem is leadership.” Ap. Evans Kulaba of Jubilee Church noted.

“Comparison is killing many ministers today because someone is doing something, you want to do the same. So we end up confusing the people we lead and they end up being swayed by every whirlwind of doctrine. Ministers have opted for competition, instead of humility,” added Ap Kulaba.

“The Lord is calling us back to a place of seeking after Him like we did,” Ap. John Mulinde urged on 14 December session filled with intense praise and worship.
