Dave Dash: His recovery from drug addiction is hope for others facing the ordeal.

His addiction left him traumatized, delusional and on the brink of insanity. Now that he has experienced healing through Christ, the youngster is committed to sensitizing youth on the dangers of drugs and helping other addicts through the recovery process.

Anti-drug activist and peer educator, Dave Dash is set to recount his entire journey from drugs during the Praise City Gathering slated for 24th February 2018 at Hotel Triangle, Buganda Road – Kampala.

The former NTV and Radio City presenter, while undergoing rehabilitation decided to surrender his life to Jesus, and was never left the same.

Speaking to UG Christian News, founder and vision bearer of Praise City Gathering, Minister Sami K said Dave Dash is on top of coming out to inspire the young generation, an events MC and social media specialist.

Through his recovery, Dave Dash has been searching within himself to identify what led him to drug use. “He will share his retire struggle to recovery,” Sami K said.

“I had my eye on him before all that happened. God has given me a heart for media people and artistes to minister to them and my push is for church to start embracing those that have accepted the faith and salvation and reach out our walls and extend grace and salvation to those that haven’t,” He added.

The event starting 4pm, will also feature award winning a cappella group, the Canaan Gents.
