Christian leaders to address the essence of humility in Church today

A topic often ignored or shunned in the Church takes centre stage.

We know from God’s Word that He resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.

According to Pastor Favour Senfuma of United Christian Center – Kasubi (Innerman Ministries), Jesus lived His earthly days with a humble spirit, and He taught that we should demonstrate meekness as well.

The wife to late Bishop Steven Senfuma, explained on an update online recently that the “rare” subject is often ignored and yet there is need for the body of Christ to recognise that they can do nothing of value without the Lord.

It was against this backdrop that the Ministry was inspired to unveil the Humility Conference scheduled to run from 31st October, 2021 to 5th November, 2021 at UCC – Kasubi.

Pastor Favour Senfuma will also use the platform to unveil and launch a new book on leaning humility from Christ, written by Bishop Steven Senfuma before his passing earlier this year.

“The Holy Spirit will be ushering us into humility,” she said.

The conference will be graced by among others Bishop Steven Senfuma’s successor, Dr Joseph Serumaga, Pastor Jessica Kayanja of Girl Power Ministries International, Rev. Dr. John W Mulinde, founder and general overseer of World Trumpet Mission, Apostle Michael Kimuli, the senior Pastor of Christian Discipleship Ministries International (CDMI), Bishop Nassan Ibrahim Turyamureeba of Daystar Cathedral Mbarara, Omega Healing Centre lead pastor Michael Kyazze among others.

“Talk about humility in Uganda, we remember Bishop Senfuma, who is still speaking up till now through his books and preachings,” Apostle Michael Kimuli said.

“If there is something that God would like to see, it is a Church full of humility,” Apostle Kimuli added.
