Following Sunday night’s exceptional live performance, Ezekiel (11) and Esther Mutesasira (14) have gone through to the East Africa’s Got Talent (EAGT) 2019 finals.
The talented stars stunned both the audience and judges, who erupted in applause and standing ovations, when they sang Andra Day’s hit ‘Rise Up’.
Having missed out on the public vote, it should be noted that the duo’s victory occurred after all Judges voted in their favor, bringing seven-year-old Leyna Kagere’s dream to the EAGT crown this year to a halt.
“Thanks to everyone who voted for us, we are through to the finals,” Ezekiel and Esther Mutesasira posted on their Facebook page Sunday night.
