Over 700 traffic officers under the Kampala Metropolitan Police heard the word of God during a meeting held at Kololo Independence grounds in Kampala on Sunday.

Speakers included born-again Pastor Samuel Kasigwa who is the global team leader, Uganda For Evangelism. He pointed the group to Jesus Christ, noting that “there is more than enough room for all at the cross of Calvary.”

Pastor Kasigwa cited Luke 3:12-14 urging the traffic officers not to extort money from road users.

They were encouraged to be grateful to God for their Jobs.

“I explained to them that promotion comes only from God. They should be submissive to their superiors, live with in their means, and embrace saving,” he told Uganda Christian News.

“Most importantly, I shared the message of eternal life and many accepted Jesus christ as their personal Lord and saviour,” he added.

Pastor Kasigwa thanked God and the Uganda Police Force Management for the opportunity to minister Christ to the officers.
