Right after the  successful event, UG Christian News learnt that the Viga Music Awards management was approached by a USA contact to present candidates to these awards (Sauti Awards), all with an achievable opportunity of ministry.

The VIGA management was expected to submit a music video, audio, bio and photos of artists for consideration in the 2nd Annual Sauti Awards edition.

This year’s nominees were released and Uganda’s Julie Mutesasira Nalugya seen nominated in the East African Female Artist of the year category.

The organizers attribute this to the fact that they seek to brings together hundreds of performing artistes and creative professionals in the recording gospel industry

The nominees for the annual gala are thus drawn from different parts of the world and represent different genres of music and technical fields.

Voting is on going. Go to www.sautiawards.com to vote for your favorite Artist. It is at the same site that one can get a tickets for the concert and Awards show in August 12 and 13th at Cumberland community church, Atlanta in USA.
