'Beautiful' is a song of re-assurance, affirmation and love - Jonas.

In an internet-obsessed culture that seemingly challenges self-worth, and prompts multitudes to feel they are not good enough the way God made them, Christian musician Jonas Rayme is on a mission to deal with misconceptions about what defines beauty.

Through his latest release labeled ‘Beautiful’, Jonas Rayme is challenging Christians to find their identity and value in Christ.

The song does not shy away from speaking to the young generation that feels judged by how they look and mistakes they made in the past.

“The world says you are not good; each time you try to prove your worth; so you get broken and lose yourself,” So goes part of the first stanza of Jonas Rayme’s new breathtaking single.

“No matter what the world may say about you, I am here to remind you of who you are, you’re beautiful.”

Speaking to Uganda Christian News, Jonas said ‘Beautiful’ is a song of re-assurance, affirmation and love.

“God will still take you as you are, and turn that grieve, sorrow, pain, discomfort, bad behavior, weakness, brokenness, hate, depression go into gladness; into Good Gold,” he said, with reference to Isaiah 61.

“‘Beautiful’ is a song of good news that God has bestowed beauty instead of ashes to those that felt unworthy. He Loves you. He’s waiting for you!,” he told this website.

Rayme’s other songs include ‘Yegwe’, ‘Centre of it all’, ‘Togenda’ and ‘Believe’ among others.
