Bishop Elijah Sebuchu has told Christians to emulate President Museveni’s winning formular by “weeding out friends who slow down progress or obstruct them on the path to achieve their dreams.”

He adds that this is the strategy Uganda’s president-elect used when he let go of the rest, winning over politicians like Ms Hon Nakiwala Kiyingi, Olive Betty Kamya, Salaam Musumba and Cecilia Ogwal.

The Bishop was speaking at the ‘Break Through Prayer Festival’ held at Kampala International Christian Center in Kyanja, located 7 miles off Gayaza Road last Saturday.

“Museveni is a strategist and statesman of the year in the eyes of many citizens. He shocked his critics and most especially the opposition.” Bishop Elijah Sebuchu told the congregation.

He is married to Pastor Ruth Sebuchu and together they have five 5 children. Elijah Sebuchu is also the 4th born of 38 children born to Israel Lwamba (RIP) and Esther Najjuka.

Joined by Pastor Jackson Kayira of Deliverance Church Lugazi, Sebuchu challenged the congregation to let 2017 be a year of victory.
