This week, over 500 Church Pastors and leaders attended a 2-day conference in Mbale district, in the eastern region of Uganda.
Organized by LIFT Evangelistic Ministries, speakers at the conference included Gaba Community Church lead Pastor, Peter Kasirivu, Alex Mutagubya, the lead Pastor of The City Church- Luzira and Joel Wells, Team Leader/Pastor at Harvest City Church which includes LIFT Evangelistic Ministries.
Pastor Joel preached through a video conference a message that brought every pastor to their knees in repentance, a statement from the ministry read. The message was titled “How did I get Here?”
“If your vision isn’t so big, that only God can fulfil it, then you need a bigger vision,” he said, quoting Isaiah 54.
Pastor Joel urged commitment, noting that any minister of the gospel that is trying to live out their God-given vision will face opposition.
Pastor Peter Kasirivu taught under the sermon title “Re-Charging Our Spirits,” while Pastor Alex Mutagubya preached a message about “The Jezebel Spirit.”
