Ugandan gospel artist Coopy Bly was in Kenya for a video shoot with skilled video director J Blessing, when he unexpectedly pulled a surprise marriage proposal for his girlfriend Annie Marie, who was present during the shoot.
The pair had by then been in a relationship for 4 years. He made a colourful celebration of ‘Annie’s yes’ together with her family abroad.
In July, he further took it to one Power 104.1 FM concert that featured gospel a cappella singers Canaan Gents to announce the date of his wedding to Annie Marie.
Original name Emmanuel K Edwin, Coopy Bly stated, “Me and Anne are inviting you to our wedding on November 26th this year,”
Proving his commitment to the cause, Coopy Bly on Saturday (15th) made official the highly anticipated wedding.
He launched off the special date at Centenary Park in Kampala together with family, friends and well wishers.
