Declare God’s Word over Uganda – Pr Jessica Kayanja

Reviving Dry Bones: Pastor Jessica Kayanja on speaking life amid hopeless situations.

Pastor Jessica Kayanja urges that believing, confessing and declaring God’s Words and promises over your life, family and country will give you victory – no matter how bad things may seem.

Speaking during an online service at Miracle Centre Cathedral – Rubaga this week, the wife to Pastor Robert Kayanja encouraged Christians to put an end to self-destructing conversations and “commission the Word of God” amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

She urged that faith confession – even in the midst of difficulties – is a powerful scriptural and spiritual weapon for our daily victory in life.

From the book of Ezekiel, Chapter 37, Pastor Jessica Kayanja taught how God brought Ezekiel to a valley full of dry bones and commanded him to prophecy and speak life.

“God told Ezekiel, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!’ As a Church, it is time to prophesy to the environment around us. This is not the time for the Church to keep quiet. This is not the time for the Church to lay back. This is not the time for the Church to be set behind. This is a time for us to speak,” she told viewers.

“The hand of God is still upon you, that has not changed, but the environment around you has changed. ‘Dry bones’ means death. It means pestilence, confusion, and hopelessness,” she added, quoting
Isaiah 55:11.

The passage reads, “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

The Girl Power Ministries founder told Christians in order to encounter transformation, they need to change how they speak, for “death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Proverbs 18:21).

The preacher detailed how from the Book of Genesis, God spoke a word and formed the world into being.

“Like Ezekiel in the valley of dry bones, we are in the midst of [a pandemic] today… It is here and everyone is asking, ‘where are the people who used to pray. Where are the people who used to prophesy and fast.'” she went on. “I want to encourage you, the hand of the Lord is still upon you. He has not left you… You are still called of God. You are still the house of Israel. You are still born-again. You are still a royal priesthood and set apart for His purposes.”

“This is time for you to prophesy. Prophets are not made on the mountain top, they are made in the valley. Prophets are not made in glamour, they are made where there is confusion and lack. In the beginning, there was chaos and anarchy, darkness covered the face of the earth, and God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light,” she said.

“God entered the prophetic, because there was darkness and confusion. I speak to you, get into the prophetic anointing, and begin to prophecy. With your mouth, you can change the situation and environment. Prophecy health, commission the Word of God, it shall not return to Him void, but it shall accomplish that which He pleases,” she explained.
