Don’t let emotions dictate your faith

Solomon Nabeeta on living by the certainty of faith.

Solomon Nabeeta, a Christian leader, author and founder of Christ to all Foundations International, is encouraging the body of Christ to trust in the Lord and His Word irrespective of what they ‘see, feel or hear.’

Speaking during a live Facebook broadcast on Tuesday, Rev Nabeeta emphasized that even in our inconsistent world, God’s Word always remains the same.

When circumstances change, Rev Nabeeta stated many go back on their commitment to God’s Word: “that is why we do not see the results of faith,” he went on.

He continued: “One thing is certain, if you stick (to) the Word of God, you will come out with a testimony.” “Faith is a fight.”

Matthew 9:18-22 talks about the woman with the issue of Blood who was healed by faith. The incident occurred while Jesus was traveling to Jairus’ house, amid a large crowd. She had suffered a great deal for 12 years under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.

Rev Nabeeta explained: “The Bible says “she kept saying to herself, if I can only touch His garment, I will be healed.” She kept speaking to herself even in the midst of opposition. She kept her confession right. She kept the fight on. I am appealing to you, it is time to pick up the fight. Even when you are surrounded with opposition do not quit or turn back in the day of battle. The victory is sure, if you keep the fight on.”

“What is the fight of faith? It is your resolution to maintain your confession and your belief – even in the midst of adverse circumstances, negative emotions or counteractive words from people around you. Stand to what you know God has promised. Believe God irrespective of what you see, feel or hear. That is the fight of faith.”
