Dr Joseph Serwadda of Victory Christian Church-Ndeeba has asked President Y. K Museveni to help unite the many Pentecostal Church-bodies under one umbrella.

He was speaking during the 31st Passover Festival at Namboole, that drew multitudes from all cross the nation.

Not the first time; Pr Serwadda had made the same request during the annual national Prayers hosted by the President recently.

Given the numerous Pentecostal churches in Uganda, the head of Victory churches wants to move beyond cooperation to a degree of mutual accountability which can adequately be expressed only by life within a single ecclesial structure.

This request was received by the Vice President, Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi who represented the President at this annual Passover festival.

Elsewhere, Pr Serwadda told to the Christians that God revealed to him that anybody who will engage in agriculture (farming and rearing) this new year will prosper greatly.

Pastor Wilson Bugembe, who led the multitude through music, said that politicians should end using words like “Resistance” and “Defiance” as they look forward to advancing the nation this new year.
