Vision bearer of Inner-Man Ministries Dr Stephen Senfuma says he is committing the next phase of his life to promoting spiritual-heath among fellow Pastors who are discouraged and struggling in ministry.

Speaking during the 25th anniversary celebration of Inner-Man Ministries on Friday, Dr Stephen Senfuma said there are many Pastors with such great calling in Uganda but are hindered from reaching their full potential due to the difficulties they face.

Dr Senfuma hopes to achieve this by investing time to resourceful conferences and seminars tailored towards one being a faithful minister of God’s Word.

Dr Senfuma said he is also going to spend more time reaching out to the younger generation. This will be done in collaboration with compassion international , he said.

“I have a calling for the children. As generations get evil, there has to be a generation that has been kept in service for God. We have to nature them from these children today,” he said.

Inner-Man Ministries begun in 1995, and a year later, the establishment of United Christian Centre Church took shape. The Church took to its neighborhood during the anniversary to celebrate and thank God for the milestone achievement.

“As a young person, I hated God because he was referred to as father. I had hated the name ‘father’ due to my biological dad who tortured me so much, and only paid my school frees till Primary three (3). From Primary three to Primary six where I ended, I had to pay for my own school fees out of wages I earned from dancing at weddings,” Dr Senfuma shared part of his testimony leading to salvation during the anniversary celebration.

He revealed how he resisted God, battled faith to the point of burning 3 bibles. I want you to see where I came from and how God helped me get to where I am today, he explained.

Dr Senfuma thanked the pastors that have stood with him at all ministry branches through the 25 years, and encouraged them further to stand as a team.

“He has been a father and mentor. He has done great work. He has pastored me personally. 6 years before I received a leadership role at the ministry, he natured me and each day would ask which scripture I read and what I learnt me from it,” the wife, Favour Senfuma said.

Prof. Simeon Kayiwa of Namirembe Fellowship Church and Pastor Micheal Kyazze, who is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in theology, months after graduating at the African Bible University, commended Dr Senfuma in their speech.

“Believing in God is not an outer artificial thing, but an inner thing. I thank God that we have all learnt from him not to walk by our outer, but by our inner,” said Prof. Simeon Kayiwa.
