Dr. Joseph Serwadda, the founder of Victory Christian Centre Church – Ndebba on Friday celebrated his 70th birthday with a new plan of establishing a Children’s Health Centre aimed at enhancing the physical well being of the future generation.

The presiding Apostle of the Born Again Faith in Uganda, explained Thursday that while his 70th birthday is a “momentous occasion”, the establishment of a Children’s Health Centre is a project very close to his heart.

“This Sunday, March 10, 2024, I invite you to join me at Victory Christian Centre Ndeeba, not just to celebrate another year of life, but to unite for a cause close to my heart – the establishment of a Children’s Health Centre,” he said.

“Your presence would mean the world to me, and your support towards this dream would leave a lasting impact on the lives of many children. Let’s come together to make this birthday not only memorable for us but also transformative for the future generations,” he said.

The current infant mortality rate for Uganda in 2024 is 38.015 deaths per 1000 live births, a 2.95% decline from 2023, according to sources. Across the country, health care remains a challenge in many districts due to urban bias, social determinants of health, and transportation-related barriers.

Moving on, Pastor Freda Serwadda descried her husband’s birthday saying his journey through life is “beyond remarkable.”

“Happy 70th birthday to the most wonderful husband! Your journey through life is beyond remarkable, and I’m so grateful to share it with you. Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and adventures together,” she said.
