Joseph Ngooma is the latest gospel musician in Uganda who is taking his ministry one step further by starting a new Church.

Ngooma made the announcement on Facebook about his place of worship opening its doors 1st March, 2020 along Entebbe road at Najjanankumbi Stella Stage, Church zone.

“We would like to gladly inform you that our church ministry will be starting on this very Sunday, 1st March with an evening prayer alter fellowship, starting at 3pm to 8pm,” he said.

The multi-award winning music minister known for hits like “Ggwe Byonna” and “Kambere Naye” received numerous congratulatory messages from Christians online, and other gospel singers turned pastors.

Ngooma is thankful God surrounded them with like-minded individuals who are willing to sacrifice time and effort just to build the outreach ministry that has in recent years conducted crusades in several parts of the country.

In one of his live Facebook updates that led to this development, Ngooma revealed that recognizing God’s voice and obeying Him is critical in any Christian’s life.

He said the Lord is a communicating God, and He delights in giving divine guidance to those who seek Him.

“Many of us have been instructed by God to do specific tasks or leave certain places, where we still are today. We have taken no action because we don’t know how to discern His voice. This is how Samuel was too (1 Samuel 3),” Pastor Ngooma noted.

“God does not look at how old you are, or how much knowledge you have about Him in-order to call you. He simply calls you,” Pastor Ngooma explained, noting that if one seeks to know God’s voice, he or she must also be willing to hear everything He says.
