Uganda’s gospel music industry is filled with incredible artists who are talented, devoted and inspirational — men and women who are using the gifts God has given them to help inspire the masses.

Since he first hit the gospel music scene in 2012, Christian musician Robinsan, real name Robert Tumuhairwe, has gone beyond music-making to bring faith and uplifting sentiments into the life of his fans and listeners.

The gospel star told Uganda Christian News on Thursday that he is set to premier a video for his latest single titled ‘Ndi Mubuufu’. This will happen on 2nd November, 2019 at Equatorial Mall basement in Kampala.

“‘Ndi mubuufu’ means I am enlightened or transformed , it can also mean “Ndi Mulokole”‘ he told this reporter.

Robinsan said ‘Ndi Mubuufu’ was inspired by his life as a young man who was born, raised in the ghetto and later transformed by the gospel.

“It’s a story of how I lived a reckless life before I met Christ. However, when I received Him, I experienced transformation, and I gave the devil a red card. When Christ changes your life he changes it for the better. You become a new creation ,the old man dies,” the ‘So Good’ and ‘Ntukula’ hit singer explained.

Robinsan’s unique vocal style and his touching lyrics leave audiences with an emotional experience that is truly resonating.

“This song is for everybody especially those that haven’t received Christ. When you receive Christ you became enlightened,” he said, noting that the video will be available on YouTube soon after the premier.

The video was directed by Aiden, and most of the parts where shot from the western part of Uganda.

“It’s a cool video and I hope people will enjoy watching it. It will be officially released on 2nd November at Equatorial mall basement,” he observed.
