Gospel star Zabuli cleans community market as she preaches Christ

We can win all people to Christ by 'being doers' - Zabuli

Former Muslim turned gospel minister of Christ Jesus, Zabuli has intensified her campaign to reach more communities across Uganda with the message of salvation.

This week, the multiple award winning artist invaded Kotido district, where she embarked on a drive to clean a community market while sharing the gospel.

She was with church leaders, local authorities and a volunteer team of about 8 (eight). The drive included cleaning gutters, sweeping floors, eradicating filth, a physical co-relation of Christ’s cleansing work in sinner’s hearts.

Zabuli took to social media on Wednesday to explain why she did this.

‘Be a doer’

Zabuli took her message from James 1:22, urging the Christian community to take action and practice what is preached. She explained that with what little one has, impact can be made in society.

“Most of us keep waiting on God to avail money for a lot yet we have the wealthiest with in us to offer the most simplest way of service that automatically will exalt Jesus without a question. Just imagine with me a world where we all used only what we have to preach Jesus. Not what we believe to have, not what we expect to have but what we are carrying in our selves, I for one believe the world will be more aware of Jesus without having to win arguments to tell about him,” she said.

“Atheist, Muslim, whatever race or language or culture we can win all of them to Christ by doing not talking and preaching, without acting it. The money you need to serve God more, will find you on the way as you move and use what he already has provided with in you. Could be kindness, could be helping, could be acting human to the worst of them all as the society labels them,” she added.

“The point is, Moses only had a staff in his hands, Daniel only had his faith in God, Joseph only had his dreams, Abraham only had a yes for God and look at the faith their stories have instilled in us even after thousands of years. Move and start, a simple act like cleaning a market place next to you speaks volumes about the Jesus you want to preach to them. God bless all those who have accepted to do and have faith for more instead of wait on him for plenty to give so little. Thank you Kotido market, P.A.G church leaders and local authorities for allowing us to preach by doing,” she concluded.
