One born-again pastor had the opportunity to share the gospel of salvation with over 4,809 police officers at the Police Training School-Kabalye in Masindi District before they graduated last Friday.

Pastor Samuel Kasigwa says hundreds surrendered their lives to Jesus, and accepted Him as their personal Lord and savior during the event.

“The Lord opened for me a door to share the word of God to them all. Hundreds accepted Christ. Thank you for all your prayers and support. Thank you Jesus,” Pastor Samuel Kasigwa said.

Pastor Kasigwa explained in a communique to Uganda Christian News that he emphasized matters of integrity, honesty, faithfulness, submission, savings, avoiding multiple sexual relationships and above all eternal life.

“The lives of these young men and women will never be the same again,” the communique said.

“The presence of God was notably evident.”

According to the Commandant of Police Training School-Kibalye ACP Ziwedde Abubaker, 485 trained as Assistant Inspectors of police, while 4324 trained as constables.

ACP Ziwedde said they also trained professionals in ICT, Forensics, medical and IOV aiming at acquainting them with basic skills and knowledge for general policing, command and management.
