Isingiro: Hundreds brave the rain to receive Christ

'In season and out season let us preach the gospel.'

Tuesday was a washout for most people in Kabingo subcounty, Isingiro district in the western region of Uganda, but that didn’t stop residents from attending a Gospel crusade in the area.

Graced by born-again Church leader and Bishop Nassan Ibrahim Turyamureeba of Daystar International Ministries, the crusade ended with 248 people receiving Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

In a brief statement on the same day (29th March, 2022), Bishop Nassan expressed gratitude to God saying, the heavy downpour “couldn’t stop the move of God.”

“In season and out season let us preach the gospel, no retreat no surrender. Rain was too much but we did it. Hallelujah,” Bishop Nassan remarked.

The ministry said, “there is a moral and spiritual war for the souls of Africans.” Adding, “this war must be waged by preaching the Gospel, prayer, and obedience to God’s Word.”
