It is alleged that Nalwayiso Shamila alias Nansubuga Kirabo, Nanangwe Peace and another still at large on 18th June , 2016, gave information which they knew to be false to wit D/CPL Kozaala Aramanzan attached to Kajjansi Police Station, that Nalwayiso Shamila alias Nansubuga Kirabo was defiled, impregnated and later aborted by Bishop Makumbi Partirck with the intention of having the said Bishop arrested.

Doctors that were brought to provide evidence during the court case this week have issued contradicting reports.

The plaintiffs brought three witnesses including, one from May Fair Clinic, a Police owned health center at Najjanankumbi and two others from Doctor’s Hospital, Sseguku.

Denis Asiku from May Fair Clinic said on August 3, 2016, they received a female pupil [Shamirah Nalweyiso] from police at Kajjansi who they [police] said required examination to ascertain whether she had aborted.

Mr Asiku told court when the hospital received her, she was in bad shape unable to support her self and that it was her mother that held her.

He said results from their medical inspection of her uterus and body indicated that there was no sign that she had had an abortion, but they discovered that she had at one time engaged in sexual activity.

Because she was in bad shape yet results indicated she had not aborted, the mother was advised to refer to a health care center with an ultra scan to determine if Nalweyiso had any other infection but, the results returned negative.

The medics pinned Nalweyiso’s condition to probable stress hence advised the mother to take her to a psychiatrist for counselling.

The second witness was Imelda Namyalo, a resident of Kawempe, who is also a medical practitioner at Doctor’s Hospital, Sseguku.

He told court on August 3, 2016, police brought Nalweyiso for medical examination and, that she was very alright, self supporting with out any trouble.

This contradicted the report by Denis Asiku from May Fair Clinic who said they received her in bad shape.

Ms Imelda Namyalo, said Nalweyiso however had some complications,  Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), an infection of the reproductive organs in women. It commonly affects one who has sexual intercourse with one infected with Urinary Tract Infection (U.T.I), which can also affect one for using unhygienic urinals.

The last witness was Emmanuel Buwa of Doctor’s Hospital. He said results did not indicate that the Nalweyiso aborted however, he also found out that she had engaged in sexual activity.
