Christians are set to gather at Makerere Sports grounds come 24th November for the annual Worship Night hosted by Pastor and gospel  musician, Wilson Bugembe.

Pr Bugembe will be joined by among others renown mega-church evangelical bishop, John Francis.

He is the lead pastor and International Director of the Ruach Network of Churches, overseeing approximately 50+ churches in the UK and overseas.

A statement made available on his official website indicates that Bishop Francis operates in his gift as an Apostle and speaker with a prophetic voice.

“He reaches the unadulterated Word of God and, as a consequence, many can testify that their lives have changed, for the better,” the statement reads in part.

The father of three (3) daughters has been a recipient of the British Gospel Association’s (BGA) Awards. He also won the Minister of the Year Oasis Award 2006 in UK.

When he started the Worship Night more than 7 years ago, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, whose Light the World Church is organising the event, said it is a platform where Christians gather to dance to the Lord and thank Him for the achievements and challenges of the year.

Bugembe also explained when people praise, miracles happen in their midst. “It is at this night that worshipers give in their time as they bow, cry and thank God.” he told journalists.

This night has in the past been attended by preachers including Pastor Jessica Kayanja, Pastor Dipo Oluyomi (Nigeria), Judith Babirye,  Pastor Isaac Kiwewesi , Apostle Alex Mitala, Pastor John Bunjo, Pastor Joseph Sserwadda, Pastor Simeon Kayiwa among others.

This year’s edition will also be graced by soul singer, Justine Nabbosa, African Children’s Choir and Kenyan award winning artiste, Kris Erroh.
