Christians at Praise Cathedral Ntinda, a location in northeastern Kampala were left in jubilation when Sauda, a Muslim, revealed to this congregation that her newfound relationship with Christ enabled her recover a large sum of money from a long time debtor she had grown frustrated calling time and again.

This was on sunday during the Church’s ‘Grace to Grace to Glory’ conference that run throughout last week.

“I lost my mother 2 years back. I have always had this one problem that has left me frustrated and in tears on several occasions. Every moment I lend someone money, as little as 10,000 (Ugx), they never pay me back. A friend of mine invited me here to church recently. I asked him what time the service starts; he told me 10 am, but by 8 am I was already on ground.” She told the congregation.

Sauda narrated to the congregation how this new experience with God brings her to tears.

“During the service I started shaking, unsure why. I felt tears fill up my eyes but could not cry.  As I was seated, the Pastor came to preach. He declared that a 24 hour miracle, in which he said that everyone was to witness something amazing from God. I saw people bring money to the altar, I wondered why; this kept me puzzled till I asked a colleague.”

Sauda was told that one can take heed to a prophetic word by planting a financial seed.

“I reached out to my wallet and got 10,000 (Ugx) which I took at the altar. As i did so, in my heart I prayed and asked God to grant me grace to be paid by my debtors.” She said.

“In 5 minutes – there was someone I was demanding 1 million Ugandan shillings, this was a person who would never talk to me or pick up my calls whenever I called him – Seated in church, he called me and I immediately sent him a text letting him know that I was in church that very moment.” She further narrated.

“After the service, I moved out and he told me that he was ready to pay half of what I owed him that very moment, and was to send the remaining half in a few days time that he specified. I am persuaded and do believe that God is there. From that day, I cried no more. There is a way that I pray of late, I also stand amazed that I am the one praying. ” Sauda concluded, setting the congregation into a heartfelt shout of praise to God.
