The Kampala City Festival is a signature brand that draws multitudes to Kampala every first Sunday of October to celebrate culture, unity and provides immense networking opportunities for business.

2015 attracted over 4 million revelers cutting across different age groups and races.

The 5th edition of Kampala City Festival will take place on the 2nd October, 2016. It’s a Black-Yellow-Red affair, as the celebration organizers confirm.

This year’s festival is expected to be celebrated for more than one day as it has been in the past.

According to a statement submitted to UG Christian News, Hum Kay, the Kampala City Festival Christian Stage Music Director who also doubles as a worship leader and gospel musician says that his role towards the creation of something truly great is an opportunity he feels honored being apart of.

“There are 6 stages scattered across the city, but the Christian Stage is one you can’t afford to miss out on. It’s okay to Tour the rest, but make sure to end up at the Sheraton Hotel which the location of the Christian Stage,” Says Hum Kay.

Further noting: “We’ve had artists perform at KCF Christian Stage before; and yes that will happen this time around. Some of the usual suspects like Wilson Bugembe will be performing among others.

However, to take the experience to a new level, we’re also unleashing some fresh talent that will wow you and show the world what Gospel Artistry is really about!”

Hum Kay reveals that different partners and sponsors are pitching tents on location and show casing a wide range of products and services that will benefit those who will come through. And to make sure you can enjoy the moments with those still on their way, we shall have free WiFi.

“Different from previous years, we have made the Christian Stage more interactive.
A team of acrobats will also be performing coupled with BBOY dance battles and professional DJs spinning the Gospel wheels!” He says.
