Watoto Church in partnership with Solutions Africa has launched, ‘TRAIN’ an initiative expected to brings together 100+ internationally certified business and leadership coaches from around the world to train leaders using best-in-class leadership courses.

The week-long training initiative, according to the Church, seeks to ignite a servant leadership culture conversation in organizations around the city, training more than 10,000 leaders in 400 companies, while raising funds to further raise the next generation of leaders through Watoto.

While addressing a press conference in Kampala, Watoto Church Pastor Julius Rwotlonyo said the training will help tackle some of the challenges facing young companies in the country.

Together with the partnering bodies, the Church believes “transformation in one leader can have a ripple effect in the entire organisation.”

“Watoto is about celebrating Christ and caring for community including the children under our care. Our dream is that the children will be transformation agents in our nation,” Pastor Julius said.

“The coaches are Certified John Maxwell coaches, Certified Marshal Goldsmith coaches, Certified Insights Discovery coaches, Certified Leadership Academy coaches and Certified Integreat Leadership coaches,”

The Church also unveiled Agency Nomad, NBS TV,  Power FM Uganda as partners.The conference included testimonies from some of the Watoto alumni.

“Our future can only be bright if our young people take on the right leadership skills. ‘TRAIN’ is all about leaders raising other leaders” Mr Joseph Kigozi, the Chief Strategy Officer at Next media Services which includes NBS TV said.

“The training will be in Kampala from 1 to 7 July 2018 to offer companies like yours subsidized training courses in the areas of Leadership, Strategy and Sales. All proceeds, outside of expenses related to training material, will go to Watoto,” a statement available on the Church website reads.
