After driving out all of the Christians in the city of Mosul, ISIS recently released a disturbing video showing a big pile of Christian literature, including the Bible, being consumed in flames.

The video is stated to have been recorded this month by the Diwan Al-Hisbah, or ISIS’ “morality police,” and is entitled “Diwan of education destroys Christian instruction books in Mosul.”

The atrocities committed by ISIS wherein they kill, enslave and force out countless Christians in Iraq could already be considered as determinants for genocide. This is only exacerbated by the blasphemous destruction of religious materials.

Not a lot is known about the video, except that it clearly shows ISIS members piling hundreds of books with crosses printed on the cover and setting it on fire, somewhere in an undetermined location in northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

The horrible acts done by the Islamic State has caused a huge drop in the Christian population of Iraq. Previously, the Iraqi Christian population was around 1.5 million but now it has dropped to 275,000.

As previously reported, last October, the U.S. Department of State released its annual International Religious Freedom Report, finding that the greatest persecutors of Christians and other groups worldwide were Islamic terror groups like ISIS and Boko Haram.
