Rev. Mrs. Funke Felix Adejumo, a popular Nigerian pastor, teacher, author, marriage counselor and humanitarian is expected to visit Uganda this April. She is the president of Funke Felix Adejumo Foundation, which is dedicated to making worldwide impact.

The certified transformational coach, and mother of four (4), will join other leading global voices to speak to multitudes at the annual Virtuous Woman Conference slated for 29th April, 2023 at Hotel Africana from 9am to 3pm.

On the same day, Rev. Funke will speak during a Business and Leadership Symposium dinner at Kampala Serena Hotel at 5pm. Hosted by Christ’s Heart Ministries International, the Virtuous Woman Conference is spearheaded by Bishop Isaiah Mbuga and his wife Deborah Mbuga.

The event will bring together critical stakeholders from Church, and other mountains of influence including family, education, business, government, arts to facilitate dialogue and actions on relevant issues that affect Christians today.

Rev. Funke gave her life to Christ at age 14. She is happily married to Felix ‘Remi Adejumo. They met in 1982 at Ibadan, and took their marriage oath in 1984. Bishop Felix is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Agape Christian Ministries Inc, with branches in over 30 locations within the country.

Rev. Funke founded the Funke Felix Adejumo Foundation (FFAF) with the aim of helping people who live in poverty like she once did.

On several occasions, she mentions during her ministration in various places that her family was very poor due to unforeseen circumstances, and that her relatives were expecting a boy and not her. Reports indicate that Funke’s mother used to sell everything she could come by just to feed her children, and at one point, things were so bad that there were no plates in the house, as she had to sell them to pay for medicine when her son (Funke’s brother) fell ill.

Despite that, Adejumo managed to go to school and sponsored herself through the university with some assistance from her husband. Notwithstanding all the hardships that came her way, Funke managed to excel. Over the years, she has worked on improving herself and making the lives of those around her better as well.

With a great passion for womanhood and divine purpose of ‘Honoring God and Blessing Humanity’, Funke organizes several impactful women programs. She is the convener of Mothers’ Summit, Winning Edge Conference, Women in Leadership Conference, and many more.
