Over 10,000 participants are expected to attend the third edition of Phaneroo Ministries International men’s conference labeled ‘Men Gather.’

In a statement sent to Uganda Christian News, the ministry confirmed that the conference is scheduled for Saturday, 29nd February 2019 at the Kololo Independence grounds in Kampala.

“As with previous editions, this exclusively male-attended event, Men Gather – Season Three, shall be marked with fun games and discussions focusing on various subjects (money, relationships, grooming, career etc. as relating to men) led by inspirational figures of the society,” the statement reads.

General Overseer of Phaneroo Ministries International, Apostle Grace Lubega believes no deeper wisdom has been given to mankind than what is in the precepts of the Word of God.

“When we gather as men; fathers, sons and brothers, it is to sharpen each other against the double edged sword of the Holy Scriptures. For how can we penetrate the barriers of complacency without this sharpness? How can we win in the arena of responsibility without this sharpness?,” Apostle Grace Lubega says, in a brief bio about the conference available here.

“We gather because we understand that our mandate is not just for a nation but for a generation,” he adds.

Moving on, Phaneroo Ministries International observes that whilst the equally successful previous editions were held at the UMA main hall, Lugogo, Kampala, the surge in participant registrations since the announcement of the date for this year’s event forced the hand of the organisers to scour for a bigger venue hence Kololo Independence grounds.

The event is free for all and gates open at 09:00 AM.

This event attracts attendees from all regions of Uganda and beyond. In the past, the statement reads, many have traveled from across the East African countries, Botswana, USA, the UK and Malaysia.

Jimmy Otim, a young professional working in Nairobi, Kenya, and a devout attendee of this event told the Ministry, “Since attending the inaugural “Men Gather – Eye Can See” conference in 2018, I have seen and experienced a seismic change in appreciation of my responsibilities, clarity of my purpose and the sharpening of my vision. Metaphorically, it was that potent drug I craved and having found it, I now can’t afford skip a dose; I’m hooked”.

Elsewhere, Brian Tayebwa, a flourishing businessman told Phaneroo Ministries International that since attending the conference, he’s learnt to own up to his mistakes and yield to the God that changes men and the results thus far have been remarkable. To him, if any man desires radical transformation in any sphere of his life, he ought to attend the Men Gather conference.

“The candid approach to the discussions and teachings at the event especially on matters specific to men such as ego and mannerisms, responsibility to the household, hygiene etc. have been lauded for their transformative effect on attendees,” the ministry reports.
