Former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate, Kizza Besigye has been blocked by police on his way to the party headquarters at Najjanankumbi, Kampala for the routine party prayers.
Besigye left his home in Kasangati,Wakiso district early Tuesday morning to attend the party’s campaign prayers. However, his procession was stopped by police after Kubiri Roundabout, Mulago.
Pepper spray has been used to keep off his supporters and his car towed away by a police armored vehicle to an unknown destination.
