Top finalists for Zabuli’s talent search set for inaugural concert

This upcoming concert is one of the benefits of the 'Can you Praise' talent search competition.

Several spirit-filled gospel music ministers have emerged following the talent search competition, mentorship and training program organised by award winning gospel musician, Zabuli earlier this year.

As this website reports, two of the top finalist, Yesuanjagala Carsteen and Ngabo David who were unveiled during the contest, are set to usher believers to a power packed gospel event at Ebenezer Chapel, Hotel Eliana in Ntinda on 23 June, 2019.

“This wasn’t just a competition. No it is a place where dreams to serve God with your talent become reality. We are grateful to achieve this much in a short time. Come support our found treasures serving God on this day,” the talent search management said.

Yesuanjagala Carsteen, 20, won the ‘Can You Praise’ talent search competition on 14 April, 2019, walking away with a grand cash prize of Ush3,000,000 and a recording deal with House of Dreign among other things.

Carsteen on Friday unveiled his latest single labelled ‘Loving You Easy‘, in which he exalts God for his amazing love and grace.

On the same note, Ngabo, released ‘Njayana‘ loosely translated to mean ‘I am longing for you.’

The two fresh gospel musicians had their music produced from House of Dreign, which is owned by popular artist D.Reign. He is known for several songs including ‘Babawo’, ‘Christian kung-fu’, ‘Ohlala’ in which he features Zabuli among others.

“This upcoming concert is one of the benefits from the Can you Praise competition, and its all about unplugging us as single performing gospel artists,” Carsteen told Uganda Christian News on Friday.

Asked what he hopes to achieve from the concert, Carsteen had this to say.

“Winning souls for Christ and also giving people hope through our music,”

The two hope that attendants will buying their album which will be present at the event.

“I am now more intentional on extending ministry through my own music. And also, I have learnt that before ministering to others, I should have my own personal encounter with God, and in that way, I can impact people’s souls through my music,” he said.

“Me and my brother Ngabo David are preparing the best for everyone that is coming for the show. They shouldn’t miss out and let them invite all there friends. We are going for school tours and outreaches led by the vision bearer of the ‘Can You Praise’ competition, Zabuli,” he added.
