In an exclusive interview with CBN News and the The Brody File at the White House, President Donald Trump says becoming president of the United States has made him rely on God more than ever.

“I would say that the office is so powerful that you need God even more,” Trump told The Brody File. “There’s almost not a decision that you make when you’re sitting in this position that isn’t a really life-altering position. So God comes in even more so.”

Responding to a question in relation to his travel ban policy that has sparked public outrage, President Donald Trump says persecuted Christians will be given priority when it comes to applying for refugee status in the United States.

“We are going to help them,” President Trump tells CBN News. “They’ve been horribly treated. Do you know if you were a Christian in Syria it was impossible, at least very tough to get into the United States? If you were a Muslim you could come in, but if you were a Christian, it was almost impossible and the reason that was so unfair, everybody was persecuted in all fairness, but they were chopping off the heads of everybody but more so the Christians. And I thought it was very, very unfair.”
