USA President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in at his inaugural ceremony using the same Bible that President Lincoln used at his inauguration, as well as a Bible Mr. Trump’s mother had given to him in 1955.

This inauguration happens (5PM GMT) today – Friday, January 20.

Trump’s mother gave the 45th president-elect his Bible when he graduated from Sunday Church Primary School at First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica, Queens in 1955. The inaugural committee said the Bible is embossed with Mr. Trump’s name on the cover.

Lincoln’s Bible, meanwhile, has only previously been used by Lincoln and President Obama at his swearing-in ceremonies in 2009 and 2013.

Despite growing opposition, He will be sworn into office at an inauguration ceremony in Washington D.C.

The historic event began on Thursday afternoon when Trump’s supporters enjoyed a Make America Great Again! Welcome Concert.

Trump’s 35-word swearing-in – will happen on a 10,000 square foot specially-built platform in front of the Capitol that holds 1,600 people.

He will then make an inaugural address to the thousands watching on in Washington and millions more via their TVs.
