English speaking cell based church in the heart of Kampala, Watoto Church, has announced its intention to participate in evangelistic missions across Kampala this month (September).

This will involve proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ on radio and in several regions including the five administrative divisions of Kampala.

“Watoto Church is passionate about celebrating Christ and caring for community, because of this, we invite the Watoto family to participate in the Kampala Mission 2017.” The Church said in a release.

This mission, drawn from Zechariah 1:3,  is spearheaded by African Evangelistic Enterprise (AEE), a Christian non governmental organization registered in Uganda and operational in over 25 districts.

AEE aims at evangelizing the cities of Africa “through word and deed in partnership with the Church.”

Speaking during the Church’s Vision weekend earlier in March, Pr Gary revealed that Watoto Church hopes to have a total of 36 celebration points here in Uganda.

“We are 12 celebration points right now, but our dream is to plant another 24 over the next 12 years. So that we have 36 celebration points. Our dream is that each one of those celebration points will have about 3000-5000 people.” He said.

“Wherever we have celebration points… we talked about; education, jobs, housing, medical care – we as a church want to begin to get more involved in building schools, getting businesses started that will create jobs, work on poor housing or low income housing and medical centers throughout the community – That is our dream for the next 10-15 years.” He added.
