We speak there shall be peace in this nation

We stand in the gap as intercessors.

By Apostle Michael Kimuli

A CRY FOR UGANDA

Lord we do not come in our holiness or goodness but we come in the name of Jesus and His righteousness. We boldly approach the throne of grace so that we might obtain mercy in this time of need. We are in a state of emergency.

Awaken the watchmen who you positioned on the watch tower. We come to you the only true God, exalting you, we come because you are the one who created nations. We stand in the gap as intercessors. We have not prayed as we should pray, we have given up the ministry of intercession. We repent for prayerlessness and not caring. Forgive us for carelessness and turning from you.

Today we ask you to have mercy, forgive us for where we have not been available. Lord awaken your intercessors, awaken the watchmen of this nation. We pray for all leadership right from homes. We repent on their behalf ,and for all the legal ground we have given to the enemy to invite the spirit of violence and blood thirst. We repent for inciting violence .

This is a time of a life changing cry. Return us to a place of true intercession. Lord help us just this one time. Release the spirit of grace and supplication upon your house so that people will cry out to you. We need your divine intervention oh Lord. Without you we cannot do much.

Lord return the church back to you. Something wrong has invaded the church to divert us from what is right. Let us be like Habakkuk, let us understand that we not only shepherd the 4 walls of a building but we shepherd the nation. Lord awaken every one sleeping. I pray that the church will have a common vision. That we will look at things the way you look at them. When the church returns to the right place the nation also returns to the right place.

Death has climbed in our windows but we cry out to you to spare your people and your land. Return the fear for you and the fear of the Kingdom in this nation. Lord return your heart in our Uganda. Lord make us fall in love with this nation’s purpose and prophetic destiny. For Uganda’s sake we will not keep silent.

I pray that the young people will marry their nation. That we will fall in love with this land oh God. Let the God of Israel rejoice over this nation. We don’t want to see calamity over this land. Raise up watchmen on the walls of this nation, that will not keep silent we pray for different towns and cities allover Uganda. Raise up laborers on their knees, who will not give up until you have established peace in this nation. Let us see you in this land-psalms 24. The earth is the Lord’s Uganda is yours and the people in it. It is you who founded it, it’s not man. Let this gate of this season be yours.

Lift up you gates of Uganda that the God of glory will come in. You gates of Uganda, be lifted up. We speak to the towns and communities, lift up your ancient gates and let the prince of peace in.May you oh Lord disarm the devil of all his weapons of warfare and violence. We speak there shall be peace in this nation.

Come Jesus, come in this land, in this nation. Return us to a place of prayer and travailing. Time is to seek your heart. Let your name be lifted in this nation. Lord save lives, save our nation, save us.
