In a bid to encourage people to live and serve as role models who engage and support every positive aspect of community growth, Worship Harvest Ministries, has announced an award aimed at recognizing, honoring, rewarding outstanding individuals and groups in Uganda,

The Ministry has through a statement issued Wednesday said ‘The Act’ Award will be handed to those whose achievements, contributions and leadership have made a significant impact on their community.

Worship Harvest Ministries says nominees are recommended by the general public which has to fill in an online form providing a clear explanation and including evidence and clear examples of what makes the stipulated candidate so exceptional.

“There should be a particular outstanding and trend-setting achievement that constitutes the principal claim to the award. There should be clear demonstration of transformation because of the nominee’s work to their community.” Reads part of the statement.

“The Award is presented every September at the ‘Transform Leaders Gathering’ and is accompanied with a cash Prize.” It adds.

The deadline for all submissions is midnight September 1st 2017. Moses and Sarah Mukisa are the senior Pastors of Worship Harvest that has several branches at Naalya, Kati Kati, Jinja , Entebbe and Gayaza.

The church earlier in June spearheaded a fundraising dinner for a water project that was aimed at raising sh125m, to build five boreholes in Karamoja, which would serve 1,500 people.
