Bishop Isaiah Mbuga, the founder of Christ Heart Ministries International has together with his wife Pastor Deborah Mbuga beefed up efforts to foster stronger and healthier marriages in Church today.

The two launched the “Marriage Flair”, as the official brand name for Christ’s Heart Marrieds ministry, seeking to address key issues related to among others the marriage institution.

The inaugural launch was held during a colorful married’s convention on 26th February 2022 at their conference center in Kisaasi .

The convention was themed “Building sure foundations” taken from Psalms 11:3 which reads “If
the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

In their address, Bishop Isaiah Mbuga and his wife Deborah emphasized realigning couples to Christ as the foundation for a successful marriage.

“This ministry believes in godly marriages and the main intention of the event was to clearly
communicate the foundational principles of marriage from the word of God using practical
experiences in our day and age,” said Pastor Deborah.

With the world shifting the foundations of marriage to manmade ideas, she urged couples to maintain what is written in the word of God to safeguard the foundation of their marriages.

The event was also graced by Mr. David Kabiswa, a seasoned international consultant with over
25 years experience, a passionate strategic planner, personal development, relationships, and
marriage coach.

Mr. Kabiswa expounded on the need for goal setting for both new marrieds and older
couples.

“Each marriage must have short term, medium term and long-term goals written down
with a time frame to achieving each. [One must also] hold the other party accountable,” he said.

He further emphasized how developing an investment portfolio is important in a home where earned
income, cash flow and passive income must be defined, and the three should inform the lifestyle
of every married couple.

“Children in a marriage are not just biological but anyone under the couples’ care. For couples
looking for children, there are so many children/ people under their care who they can choose to
parent as they wait on God for theirs,” said Mrs Peace Hasahya Masiko – the overseer of the
Marrieds Ministry in House of Revival.

Mrs Peace is ardent about building a family considerate of its role in society and posterity.

She believes that families walking in destiny and upright living will transform nations.

She explained how important it is for parents to be deliberate about spending time with their children. Mrs Peace expressed concern over children growing up with parents but ‘not being parented.’

“My eyes have been opened. I overlooked some of the things shared today but it is now clear that
I need them to improve my marriage,” said by one of the attendees that spoke to the ministry.

“Christ’s Heart Ministries International is a holistic ministry which mentors leaders for
generational impact as our supreme model Jesus Christ mentored the twelve. We are passionate
about mentoring young people to walk in purity and to honor marriage in its sanctity” said Pastor
Deborah Mbuga.

“The moment you sense violence in your marriage, report to Police. You cannot submit to a
violet marriage. Do not die in silence,” said Bishop Isaiah, adding, “This conference shall be held every
year as we sit down to evaluate our progress in marriage.

Later in his address, Bishop Isaiah Mbuga explained the causes, remedies, and the position of the
church regarding divorce.
