Tuesday marks International Women’s Day, which aims at among other things celebrating women who have achieved great things and continue to break boundaries in various fields of life.

At Seeta Miracle Centre, located in Mukono, Uganda, the Excellent Ladies Ministry, led by Dr Pr Susanne Otim, has lined up a team of Christian women to speak to others during the Shero Conference, under the theme, ‘Women of Strength and Dignity’, starting 6th March, 2022.

With its climax set for the 8th March, 2022, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, the event will unveil Pastor Arthur Otim, Pastor Stella Aza-Madia, Mrs. Senyonjo Betty Nakibuuka, Baby Gloria, Pastor Deborah Kyamagwa, Prof. Agnes Rwashana Semwanga, Mrs. Josephine Nahamya Lutaaya, Mrs. Harriet Odoi and many more.

Pastor Dr. Susanne J.S. Otim revealed in a statement sent to UG Christian News that the conference will provide tools and inspiration, encouraging testimonies, impartation, friendly fellowship, beautiful music, delicious meals and great fun as women receive fresh revelation of their God-given potential.

The event intends to gather women from all walks of life including singles and marrieds, professionals and business women, house wives and career women.

“Historically women have been treated as incapable or unworthy. Sometimes they are despised as inferior or second-class citizens or as toys to be played for pleasure and dumped thereafter,” the ministry said in a statement.

Adding: “To-date many of our cultures and family systems directly or indirectly drive women into silence, weakness or oblivion. Like they have no right to express themselves or pursue any dreams. Unfortunately the forces against women are not only external, some are internal among the women themselves.”

“Both women and men should have the freedom and support to explore and utilise their strengths for the greater good of families and society.  Both women and men should enjoy dignity and respect,” the statement reads.

The ministry believes that God is raising every woman from zero to shero.
