Impact Radio 98.5 FM, a project of Victory Christian Centre Church, marked its 24th anniversary on Sunday, making it one of the nation’s longest serving Christian-based radio stations.

“On this day in 1997, we hit the airwaves and two years later, we officially launched our operations,” the leadership said in a statement.

Founded by Dr Joseph Serwadda, the Presiding Apostle of Born Again Faith in Uganda, the radio station is committed to sending the message of hope and grace of Jesus to the world using the airwaves.

The leadership further noted:

“We celebrate a journey of faith and trust in God, His blessing, great partnerships, hard work and a great family.”

“Over the years God has shown us His faithfulness and used us a channel that brings hope and joy to its big family of listeners,” they added.

Impact Radio expanded to reach various parts of the country including Kampala, Masaka, Busoga, Mbale, Jinja and other districts.

Over the years Impact FM has been nominated, and won many accolades.
