A difficult aspect of Christian living is waiting on God for your breakthrough. We often get frustrated and if we aren’t careful, we’ll think He’s uncaring or mad at us.

We want God to work within our time-frame, and are always in a rush to get to the next destination like we often do when we take shortcuts through traffic jam. This mindset often carries over into our spiritual lives with us rushing to the next big thing.

Breakthrough Miracle Life Ministries Pastor, Mr Noah Sematimba gives his take on the unwavering hope and faith we should have amid fiery-furnace-kind of waiting seasons filled with spiritual testing.

“Your pastor and friends may not even have noticed what is going on in your life but you’ve been crying out to God asking him “When will my deliverance come?” Pr Sematimba says.

“I want to assure you that God has a due time for you. When your time to be delivered comes, God will get you out and there will not be any smell of smoke on your garment and you will not have been harmed. “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10 (KJV),” he adds.

The Ugandan born, Texas based preacher made these remarks 19 December while addressing his audience on social media.

Mr Sematimba calls for humility under the mighty hand of God, noting that He is true to His promises. “The Word shall surely speak and not lie,” he says.

“Do not be concerned about the length of time. A longer gestation period also implies a bigger thing is being birthed. A cat has a gestation period of about 58-65 days while an elephant has a gestation period of 645 days. But one thing is true of both of them, the time finally comes when they are to be delivered of their baby. Your time is coming. You shall birth your miracle!” he adds, quoting Luke 1:57 which says; Now Elisabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.

“You may not be the fastest, strongest, wisest, most skilled nor have the most understanding. But there is a set time for your deliverance,” he concludes with Ecclesiastes 9:11; “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”
